Second Suspect Charged in Primrose Hill Stabbing Case

Date:

Metropolitan police investigators have brought charges against a second individual in connection with a fatal stabbing incident in Primrose Hill.

18-year-old Khalid Abdulqadir, a resident of Camden, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, violent disorder, and possession of a knife. He was taken into custody on April 12 and is set to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today. Another suspect, Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, has already faced court accusations for the murder of filmmaking student Finbar Sullivan, who tragically passed away following an alleged attack at the popular north London viewpoint.

During a brief court hearing at Stratford Magistrates’ Court, Ogunyankinnu vehemently denied the charges, stating that he was not involved in the incident. However, District Judge Ashwinder Gill deemed the case too serious for the magistrates’ court and ordered it to be transferred to the Central Criminal Court.

The fatal altercation took place on a Tuesday evening in Primrose Hill, prompting a police response following reports of a confrontation. Christopher, the father of the victim Finbar, revealed that his son sustained fatal injuries, with a stab wound to the leg causing severe bleeding. The young student had visited the location to test a new camera he had recently purchased for his 21st birthday. Christopher received distressing news from Finbar’s friend, who informed him of the incident two hours later.

The Metropolitan Police are actively investigating the case, urging individuals with relevant information to submit it through the police major incident portal or contact authorities directly, referencing case number 6448/07Apr. Anonymous tips can also be provided to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
