Price will join the prestigious Ring of Honour at the Bell Centre, a recognition reserved for former players who have achieved elite status in hockey.
Throughout his remarkable 15-year career in Montreal, Price participated in 712 games, maintaining a 2.51 goals-against average and a stellar .917 save percentage. He holds the franchise records for most games played and victories as a goaltender. The upcoming tribute will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild, showcasing Price’s contributions to the Canadiens.
Noteworthy accolades in Price’s career include seven all-star selections and being the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. The Canadiens will commence their pre-season on September 19, with the regular season opening on September 29 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
