“Bloody Rampage: British Man Accused of Triple Attack”

Date:

A man of British descent is the key figure in a series of alleged violent acts characterized as “extreme acts of malevolence.”

Olaolukitan Adon Abel, aged 26, has been formally accused following a sequence of vicious assaults on Monday that resulted in the deaths of two women and a man left in critical condition.

The fatal attack on DHS employee Lauren Bullis and the shootings of the two other victims on Monday prompted homeland security secretary Markwayne Mullin to express concerns about the 26-year-old suspect, British national Olaolukitan Adon Abel, who obtained US citizenship in 2022.

Mullin’s statement highlighted, “On Monday, a DHS worker, Lauren Bullis, was ruthlessly shot and stabbed to death by Olaolukitan Adon Abel, a 26-year-old UK-born individual, who was naturalized by the Biden Administration in 2022. @USCIS has enforced measures to prevent individuals with criminal backgrounds and lacking good moral character from acquiring citizenship since President Trump’s tenure.”

Mullin further stated, “He [Olaolukitan] is accused of killing @DHSgov employee Lauren Bullis by shooting and stabbing her while she was out with her dog. He is also detained for the murder of an unidentified woman whom he allegedly shot outside a Checkers, and for randomly shooting a homeless man multiple times outside a Kroger in Brookhaven.”

“These heinous acts have deeply affected our Department, and my thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families.”

The Department of Homeland Security expressed deep sorrow in confirming the tragic passing of Lauren Bullis, a valued member of the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General team.

The Brookhaven Police Department verified that all three incidents were linked and issued a statement declaring, “The Brookhaven Police Department has arrested and charged Olaolukitan Adon Abel, 26, of Atlanta with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony in connection with the shooting at Cherokee Plaza.”

The statement detailed an incident at Cherokee Plaza Shopping Center where a 49-year-old male was shot and critically injured, leading to Abel’s arrest by the Georgia Department of Public Safety in Troup County with the assistance of Brookhaven detectives.

The investigation is ongoing, with the Brookhaven Police Department collaborating closely with the DeKalb County Police Department and other state agencies to ensure a thorough examination of all aspects of these incidents.
