NATO responded to a breach of airspace by deploying fighter jets after reports surfaced. Greek media revealed that Greece intercepted Turkish F-16 fighters and a CN-235 naval cooperation aircraft. According to Eleftheros Typos, Turkey’s aircraft violated Greek airspace in the northeastern and southeastern Aegean, with four F-16 fighters, two armed, and one CN-235 naval cooperation aircraft involved.
