It is advised to enjoy this celestial spectacle as the next lunar eclipse is not expected until New Year’s Eve in 2028.
In Canada, the full moon was visible during the lunar eclipse phase in various locations. In Vancouver, the moon shone brightly in the night sky, captured in stunning images. The lunar eclipse was also observed above Osborne Village in Winnipeg and at the R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant in Toronto.
In other parts of the Americas, individuals took photos of the lunar eclipse from different vantage points. Moving to Europe, the moon made a striking appearance during the partial lunar eclipse over Warsaw, Poland. People gathered at Parliament Hill in London to witness the eclipse, while in Lisbon, a plane was seen approaching for landing against the backdrop of the moon. The lunar eclipse was also visible in Goutz, France, painting the night sky in shades of red.
