Racing Bulls, a prominent Formula 1 team, has revealed a rebrand coinciding with another major global sports event. The Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix is currently immersed in World Cup excitement, with football-themed activities happening around the paddock. For the weekend, Racing Bulls has transformed into VCARB FC, showcasing custom football kits featuring their usual sponsors and branding, along with a specially designed crest. The team’s car has also been revamped with a World Cup-inspired livery, adorned with football motifs on the wheel covers.

Drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad have been captured wearing the new jerseys, which were crafted with the assistance of independent designers enlisted by Racing Bulls, including Florence Burns, Hattie Crowther, and Ezra Alexander. Peter Bayer, the CEO of Racing Bulls, explained that the fusion of Formula 1 and football celebrates the shared essence of these two global sports, emphasizing identity, creativity, and culture. The team aims to integrate emerging talents into such initiatives, fostering innovative campaigns that push boundaries in the world of Formula 1.

Following a successful Monaco Grand Prix last weekend where Lawson and Lindblad secured fifth and sixth positions respectively, their best career finishes to date, Racing Bulls is looking to maintain their performance in Barcelona. The team garnered 18 points, placing them close behind Alpine in the constructors’ standings. Barcelona presents a challenging track for the team to continue their progress, with Lawson expressing excitement about racing with the VCARB FC livery that symbolizes the passion and global support shared by both sports.

Lindblad reflected on Monaco as a demanding but rewarding weekend, highlighting the team’s resilience and teamwork that led to valuable points. The upcoming race in Barcelona offers a different track dynamic compared to Monaco and Canada, providing an opportunity to showcase competitiveness and further develop the car. Lindblad emphasized his fondness for the Barcelona circuit and the team’s unique appearance to mark the World Cup kickoff.

In other news, Sky has enhanced its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle, now offering HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+, and Hayu, in addition to 135 channels and comprehensive Formula 1 coverage. Sky provides exclusive broadcasting of every practice, qualifier, and race throughout the season, along with coverage of Premier League, EFL, darts, and golf events.
