A campaigner advocating for local election reforms, whose tanning salon was visited by Nigel Farage, has been revealed to have expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler. Aaron Taylor, a prospective candidate and former branch treasurer, posted a tribute to the Nazi leader online, including using the phrase “heil Hitler” and denying the Holocaust. These actions were brought to light by the anti-racism organization HOPE Not Hate.
When approached at his salon in Jaywick, Taylor expressed remorse for his past actions and stated he had been removed from the party. This incident has raised questions about why someone with such extreme views would align themselves with the Reform party.
Despite presenting a positive image as a party volunteer, Taylor’s social media history revealed disturbing support for Hitler and racist rhetoric. The party has since clarified that Taylor is no longer affiliated with Reform UK after failing the vetting process to become a candidate.
