In a recently shared AI-generated video by the Iranian Embassy in Russia, a depiction of Donald Trump as a Minion struggling to access the Strait of Hormuz has garnered attention.
The video portrays a statement attributed to the US president, where he asserts that the Iranian navy has been eradicated and issues a warning against any “fast attack boats” nearing the US blockade, stating they would face immediate destruction.
Translated from Arabic to English, the caption reads, “Trump: The Iranian navy is lying at the bottom of the sea, completely wiped out – 158 ships.” Trump’s message further highlights that while the main threat was neutralized, any approaching small “fast attack boats” would not be tolerated and would be dealt with swiftly.
This incident marks one of several instances this month where Iranian embassies have mocked Trump. Previously, in response to Trump’s aggressive remarks about bombing Iran’s civilian infrastructure if the Strait of Hormuz was not reopened, various Iranian embassies took a satirical stance.
For instance, the Iranian embassy in the UK shared a post featuring a screenshot of Trump’s statement on Truth Social, accompanied by a quote from Mark Twain criticizing his intellect. The quote emphasized the importance of silence over potentially revealing one’s lack of wisdom.
This development reflects ongoing tensions and exchanges between the US and Iran, with diplomatic jabs being exchanged through social media channels.
