“High-Ranking Official Denies Trump Nuclear Codes”

Date:

US President Donald Trump was reportedly denied access to the American nuclear codes by a high-ranking US military official, as per recent revelations. Larry Johnson, a retired CIA analyst, disclosed on the widely watched YouTube program Judging Freedom that during an urgent meeting on Saturday, Trump attempted to retrieve the nuclear codes.

According to Johnson, there was a situation at the White House where Trump expressed a desire to utilize the nuclear codes, but General Dan Caine intervened and refused to grant access. Caine, as the military chief, asserted his authority in the matter, leading to a tense situation. Allegedly, there were unusual events unfolding in Washington, D.C.

Although the assertions remain unverified, the purpose behind Trump’s request for the nuclear codes remains unclear. This incident follows previous reports of Trump being excluded from the Situation Room by military advisors during a critical mission concerning Iran. Concerns over Trump’s volatile temperament and its potential impact on operations were cited as reasons for his exclusion.

Following an incident where a US aircraft was downed by Iranian forces earlier this month, Trump reportedly exhibited anger towards his staff in the West Wing, likely influenced by memories of the 1979 Iranian hostage crisis. Tensions between the US and Iran escalated on February 28 with joint US-Israeli strikes on key Iranian sites, prompting retaliatory actions from Iran in the Middle East, including the closure of the vital Strait of Hormuz trade route.

While a temporary ceasefire has been negotiated, a lasting peace resolution remains uncertain. Despite not being formally acknowledged as a nuclear-armed nation, Iran possesses uranium enrichment capabilities that could potentially lead to the development of nuclear weapons. The specific intent behind Trump’s nuclear code request remains ambiguous amid the ongoing geopolitical tensions.
