Disney+ is currently offering a special price reduction on its subscription to compete with Netflix and HBO Max. For a limited time, new and qualifying returning subscribers can access Disney+ for £3.99 per month for three months.
Typically priced at £5.99 per month, the Standard with Ads tier now allows customers to enjoy a three-month subscription for the cost of two months. To take advantage of this offer, individuals must subscribe to Disney+ by May 6.
Subscribers who sign up before the deadline will secure the discounted rate of £3.99 per month for three months. This promotion positions Disney+ as the most affordable major streaming service when compared to Netflix (£5.99), Prime Video (£5.99), HBO Max (£4.99), and Apple TV (£9.99).
After the initial three-month period, the subscription will automatically renew at the regular rate of £5.99 unless canceled. Customers aged 18 and above can opt for the ad-supported plan at £3.99, with the option to upgrade to the ad-free Disney+ Standard for £6.99 (originally £9.99) or the Disney+ Premium for £9.99 (previously £14.99).
The higher-tier plans offer enhanced features such as up to 4K UHD and HDR picture quality, Dolby Atmos support, and the ability to stream on up to four devices simultaneously. Sky has also started including a complimentary Disney+ subscription in its Ultimate TV bundle, which also features Netflix and HBO Max.
By subscribing to Disney+ at the reduced rate of £3.99 per month for three months before May 6, viewers can access popular series like Rivals, Only Murders in the Building, and The Bear, along with a plethora of content from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and more.
This package, priced at £24 per month, provides free streaming subscriptions valued at approximately £240 per year and access to 135 channels like Sky Atlantic. Disney+ is gearing up for the second season of Rivals, which stars David Tennant and garnered significant popularity in its debut season.
The upcoming Dame Jilly Cooper adaptation will be released in two six-episode parts, with the first three episodes premiering on May 15. It joins a lineup of new releases including The Testaments and Paradise’s second installment.
Returning favorites like Scrubs and Malcolm in the Middle have made a comeback with revival series on Disney+, alongside a diverse array of movies and shows from Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. Reality TV enthusiasts can enjoy Raising Chelsea, featuring Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo navigating parenthood.
Disney+ has established itself as a premier streaming platform with a rich selection of content, earning positive reviews on Trustpilot.
