Social media users were quick to point out an unusual sight in an AI-generated image of Donald Trump resembling Jesus. The image, used by the US President to criticize Pope Leo XIV, caused a stir due to a detail some found disturbing. Observers noted a figure above Trump’s head that they interpreted as a demon-like entity. Trump has since deleted the post after it offended many viewers.
In the depiction, Trump is shown in white and red robes, surrounded by a traditional golden light reminiscent of religious iconography. He is shown touching the forehead of a sleeping man, suggesting a divine healing gesture. The scene includes a nurse, a praying woman, and a camouflaged man kneeling around him. A figure in a dark green uniform stands on the left, with an unreadable inscription on the hat.
Above Trump, three shadowy silhouettes are visible in the sky, prompting speculation among users about their identity. Some interpreted them as unsettling figures, with one person questioning the central creature’s appearance. Others shared theories linking the image to biblical references and fictional characters like Sauron from “The Lord of the Rings.”
Despite various interpretations, some users believed the discussions around the mysterious figures had veered into exaggeration. One individual dismissed the speculations as overblown, emphasizing the image’s lighthearted nature. It was revealed that the AI image was originally posted by MAGA influencer Nick Adams in February, with Trump sharing a modified version featuring soldiers instead of demon-like beings.
Trump’s criticism of Pope Leo XIV led to widespread backlash, leading him to share the AI-generated image portraying himself as Jesus. This was not the first time Trump had depicted himself in a religious context, having previously shared an image dressed as the Pope in 2025. The President’s recurring portrayal of himself as a savior figure has been a consistent theme in his public image.
