Director Matthew Rankin presents “Ladies and Gentlemen, Brian Mulroney” at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, chronicling the rise of the former prime minister. Tom Hiddleston headlines the Canadian premiere of “Tenzing,” a tale of the Himalayan Sherpa mountaineer who led the successful Mount Everest summit in 1953. Penélope Cruz and Javier Ambrossi promote the Spanish film “La Bola Negra,” exploring the intertwined lives of three men navigating love and loss.
