Fourth-ranked Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime leads the Canadian team for the upcoming Davis Cup qualifiers in Quebec City. Tennis Canada announced that Auger-Aliassime will be accompanied by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, currently ranked 12th in the tournament, is set to face off against sixth-ranked France in a crucial best-of-five tie at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers, Canada secured a close 3-2 victory over Brazil, while France advanced by defeating Slovakia with a 3-1 scoreline.
