Trump Praises King Charles Amid Iran Conflict

Date:

President Donald Trump has made a surprising statement regarding King Charles and the conflict in Iran.

During an interview with The Telegraph, Trump expressed his admiration for the King, suggesting that the monarch would have supported his stance on the Iran war, contrasting it with Keir Starmer’s position.

Trump praised King Charles, referring to him as a respected figure and a good representative of the UK. He emphasized their longstanding friendship and described the King as a courageous individual who has faced numerous challenges.

In response to the strained UK-US relations over the Iran conflict, Trump urged countries that did not participate in the strikes to take responsibility for securing the Strait of Hormuz. He specifically called out the UK in a post on his Truth Social platform, advising them to procure jet fuel from the US and take control of the strait themselves.

The President emphasized the need for allies to be self-reliant in defense matters, stating that countries must learn to defend themselves without relying on US assistance. Trump highlighted the impact of the conflict on Iran and urged nations to take action to secure their own resources.
