NATO fighter jets have been deployed in response to recent devastating attacks by Russia in Ukraine, resulting in the deaths of innocent civilians, including children and elderly individuals.
An eight-year-old boy lost his life in a drone strike in Cherkasy, which also caused injuries to 14 others. Additionally, a 74-year-old kiosk vendor was fatally attacked at a bus stop in Zaporizhzhia.
Ukrainian forces retaliated by targeting military sites, with striking footage showing a FPV drone eliminating a Russian soldier near a pond in the disputed Donetsk region. A fighter loyal to Vladimir Putin attempted to shoot down the drone but was thrown back by a resulting explosion.
Recent Russian assaults in Ukraine have included renewed strikes on ports in the Odesa region, near NATO territory in Romania. The Romanian Air Force swiftly responded by dispatching two F-16 aircraft and activating their air defense systems.
In separate incidents, Dnipro suffered casualties with five people killed and 27 injured. Horrific scenes depicted victims with various injuries in the streets, prompting emergency responders to aid the wounded.
Amid the chaos, Kryvyi Rih, Zelensky’s hometown, faced severe attacks, while Kharkiv endured bombings near the Pechenihy dam. Furthermore, Sumy was targeted multiple times, causing harm to emergency workers and residents.
In a setback for Putin, a military-related gunpowder facility in Kazan erupted in flames, resulting in at least one fatality. Moreover, the Enerhodar nuclear power plant in Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia experienced power outages due to an alleged assault by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
