“Microsoft Teams Users Encounter Audio and Video Issues”

Hundreds of Microsoft Teams users encountered issues this morning, particularly with accessing video and audio calls. According to Downdetector, users faced challenges with Microsoft Teams’ audio and video quality, as well as the overall app functionality. Over 300 users reported problems earlier today, but the number of reported issues has now decreased to 35. By 10:40 am, the situation began to improve for the affected users.

Some users also experienced difficulties with Microsoft Teams’ online conferencing platform. Despite ongoing reports of issues this morning, there has been a significant decrease in the number of complaints. As of 10:50 am, 65 users are still encountering problems, mainly related to audio and video quality, and app issues.

Downdetector data revealed that 359 users reported issues shortly after 10 am. The primary concern among users was the audio quality while using Microsoft Teams, accounting for 42% of the reports. Additionally, 28% of users faced challenges with the app, and 22% reported issues with video quality. The problems seem to have started around 9:30 am.

Users across the UK are grappling with Microsoft Teams’ issues today, with London and Manchester being the most affected areas. Other heavily impacted locations include Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Sheffield, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester, and Luton.

As of 10:30 am, at least 320 users had reported problems with Microsoft Teams this morning, according to Downdetector.
