Thanks to Fillmore’s vigilance, Tom, his wife, and his 90-year-old mother-in-law escaped just in time, sustaining only minor injuries.
Tom credited Fillmore for their escape, emphasizing how the dog’s unusual and insistent barking raised the alarm.
