An encounter at their church initiated a special bond between Julie Jewett’s family and their neighbor, Debbie Page, who was likened to Lily’s grandmother due to their striking physical resemblance. Debbie, who became like an adopted grandparent to Lily, entered their lives after the family relocated to Ottawa, following Lily’s birth in 2017.
