“Sarah Ferguson Spotted in Austria Amid Epstein Fallout”

Date:

Sarah Ferguson has been seen in Austria for the first time in 213 days amidst the fallout from her association with Jeffrey Epstein. Photographs reveal the former Duchess of York, the ex-partner of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, looking serious at a high-end Alpine ski resort.

The 66-year-old Ms. Ferguson lost her Duchess of York title in October last year when Mountbatten-Windsor gave up his Duke of York title due to ties with Epstein. She reappeared after 213 days out of the public eye, as reported on Wednesday when she was captured near her chalet at an undisclosed Austrian village by The Sun.

Recent documents from the US Department of Justice released on January 30 disclosed that Ms. Ferguson had communicated with Epstein in 2009 while he was incarcerated for soliciting sex from a minor. It was revealed that she had planned to meet him at his residence five days post his release. It is important to note that being mentioned in the Epstein files does not imply any wrongdoing.

Ms. Ferguson’s most recent public appearance was at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral at Westminster Cathedral on September 16. Last month, she was stripped of her Freedom of the City of York title after council members unanimously voted to revoke the honor due to new disclosures about her ties to Epstein.

During the discussion, Liberal Democrat councilor Darryl Smalley expressed concerns about Ms. Ferguson’s close relationship with Epstein beyond his conviction, emphasizing the importance of standing with victims and upholding the rule of law and decency. He urged all councilors to support the motion to dissociate the city from Andrew and Sarah’s connections and to reserve the highest honor for deserving individuals.
