Trump labeled the Pope as weak on crime and foreign policy, expressing his disapproval of the Pontiff.
Responding to the criticism, the Pope issued a statement addressing the “arrogant,” highlighting God’s preference for the humble and peaceful over the wicked and proud. He emphasized that God’s presence is found where love and service flourish, fostering a kingdom of love and peace. Meanwhile, JD Vance challenged the Pope’s assertion that God does not support war, citing a long-standing tradition of just war theory spanning over a millennium.
