Local authorities in Auckland were informed of a sudden death on a Qantas flight inbound from New York. The police are conducting investigations into the circumstances of the woman’s passing on behalf of the coroner.
Qantas, in a statement to a local news outlet, confirmed the unfortunate death of a passenger during the flight. Despite immediate aid provided by the crew and onboard medical professionals, the passenger could not be saved. Emergency services were promptly engaged as part of the standard protocol.
