Three individuals have lost their lives, and another man has been swiftly transported to a medical facility after a tragic collision occurred. The incident took place on the A4103 in Bransford, Worcestershire, involving a lorry and a car.
Upon receiving reports of the crash, emergency responders hurried to the scene. Tragically, two women and a man who were occupants of the car succumbed to their injuries on-site. The driver of the HGV sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The collision prompted a significant emergency response, with the West Midlands Ambulance Service deploying two ambulances and three paramedic officers. Additionally, two air ambulances were dispatched to provide assistance.
A representative from the West Midlands Ambulance Service stated that upon arrival, emergency crews found a total of four patients, three from the car and one from the HGV. The individuals from the car, two women, and a man, were in critical condition. Despite the immediate administration of advanced life support, the medical team, along with other emergency responders, sadly could not save them, and they were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The male HGV driver received treatment for non-serious injuries before being transported to Worcestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution. The response team included two ambulances, three paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic, three BASICS doctors, and the Midlands Air Ambulances from Cosford and Strensham.
