Police Scotland reported the discovery of a bag containing “possible remains” in West Dunbartonshire. Officials responded to the incident in the Arthurston Road area of Alexandria around 9:45 am on Sunday. The bag’s contents are currently under evaluation as investigations continue.
This finding follows the recent discovery of Graham Wright’s remains at Rubha Dubh, approximately 15 miles away on the shores of Loch Lomond on September 13. Detectives have indicated that the Sunday discovery is not believed to be connected to the disappearance of the 38-year-old man.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland stated that they were notified about the bag with potential remains on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in the Arthurston Road vicinity of Alexandria. The contents are being examined, and inquiries are in progress.
In a separate development, two individuals, Linda Kelly, 47, and David McColl, 50, have been brought to court on charges related to the alleged killing and dismemberment of Mr. Wright’s body, followed by the disposal of body parts in Glasgow and Loch Lomond. According to court records, Kelly is accused of causing the victim’s fatal injuries at a residence in Castlemilk, Glasgow, between August 20 and September 13, 2025.
