Putin Showcases Russia’s Nuclear Might, Warns of WWIII

Date:

Russian President Vladimir Putin has revealed that he intentionally allowed a NATO spy ship to observe Russia’s latest nuclear missile test to showcase the country’s possession of the most powerful long-range weapon globally. Putin also raised concerns about a potential World War III by announcing the development of even more formidable nuclear missiles, such as the Burevestnik missile, nicknamed the ‘Flying Chernobyl’, which he claims surpasses all other missile systems in the world. During a recent test launch in the Arctic, the Burevestnik missile reportedly flew 8,700 miles over a 15-hour period.

Putin commended the scientists behind the new nuclear Burevestnik and Poseidon missile systems, highlighting the Burevestnik’s unparalleled range and target accuracy. He mentioned that foreign experts, including those on the NATO reconnaissance ship present during the Burevestnik test, were able to witness the missile’s capabilities firsthand without interference.

The Burevestnik missile, developed by thousands of Russian scientists and workers, is designed to stay airborne for extended periods before striking a target. Putin also praised the Poseidon underwater drone, powered by its own atomic reactor, which he claims can induce radioactive tidal waves in Western nations.

Despite the potency of these weapons, Putin revealed plans for a new generation of weapons, including nuclear-powered cruise missiles, with speeds exceeding three times the speed of sound, potentially reaching hypersonic levels in the future. He emphasized the ongoing development of advanced weaponry and equipment by Russia’s munitions scientists.

Putin highlighted that the technology advancements in weaponry also have implications for space and Arctic exploration, as well as civilian applications in Russia, particularly in remote regions. He mentioned the potential use of mini nuclear reactors for energy supply in challenging environments like the Arctic shelf, along with providing light and heat to rural areas. Additionally, components from the Burevestnik and Poseidon systems could aid in developing robust computer systems and digital infrastructure.

Despite Putin’s statements on nuclear capabilities, his elite Rubicon drone unit headquarters in occupied Avdiyivka, Donetsk region, was targeted by Ukraine with a strike, eliminating officers and operators involved in Russia’s drone operations against Ukraine. Ukraine also reported explosions at multiple Russian power plants in the Oryol and Vladimir regions during the same period.
