A fortunate individual from South Gloucestershire who won a £1 million prize in the Lotto is nearing the deadline to claim their reward, with only three weeks left.
The National Lottery is urging participants in the South West of England to carefully search common places for the winning pink ticket from the November 1 draw, such as wallets, pockets, and Halloween outfits. Despite being drawn right after All Hallows’ Day last year, the prize remains unclaimed.
Andy Carter, a senior winners advisor at lottery operator Allywn, emphasized the importance of checking tickets, especially for those in South Gloucestershire who purchased a ticket for the November 1 Lotto draw last year.
The winning combination included the numbers 17, 18, 31, 36, 39, 51, with the Bonus ball number being 29.
Failure to claim the prize by April 30 will result in the unclaimed ticket being voided, prompting the need for the six-figure winner to step forward before the sum is allocated to the National Lottery’s charitable causes.
Participants are advised to retrace their steps and search for the pink ticket in safe places, old wallets, or forgotten pockets of clothing, considering the proximity of the draw to Halloween festivities.
Players can conveniently purchase and verify their tickets online using the National Lottery app or through the website. Retail tickets can also be scanned using the National Lottery app for validation.
